Well, it's February 15, 2009, and I'd like to make this first contribution to the Alpha Omega Frat Blog to thank Brother Jim Sawada for taking on the challenge of initiating a program that includes this blog which will allow the members of our alumnus to communicate and post comments and events for all of us who have access to internet technology to utilize. Here's your chance to share your recollections of being a Scab and being a member or the fraternity. Thanks, Jim. Now let's have fun with this. Tell us your stories :)
I am really excited about having the chance to regain relationships and stories with "past brothers". Myself, I have a scrapbook that contains newspaper articles of Omega Chapter's meetings, complete with photos of executives dating back to 1962. Included are many memories of the old executives and special moments. As soon as I can scan these I will post for everyone to enjoy.
Sunday, February 22, 2009 Greetings: I am very happy to be re-involved with the Frat . Its been so many years... but also seems like yesterday! Many thanks to Doug Bowering and Jim Sawada. I am hoping to help make our reunion a reality this summer. Best, Frank Healey, Alpha Chapter 1962. Posted by Frank Healey at 10:05 AM

ReplyDeleteCheck out our website at http://www.sawada.ca/AOF/ and be part of the action.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone still have any of our old records such as minutes from the meetings, or how about any swords made by the scabs?
And, we'd really like to get another look at the shield that Bill Burleigh made in the early 1950's.
And who still has control over their frat pin?
Looking for answers :)
first time ever posting a blog--really great to see the names of members--looking forward to contacting and getting together
